That’s the only way I know how to explain to my mom what I do for a living. I ideate, write, pitch (and win), then execute DVCs, social-first content, branded photoshoots, and marketing films that help brands stay relevant.
I’m Lamis, a Creative Producer, Director and Writer. I believe this is the era of visual storytelling, and I happen to know my way around it. Somewhere between show not tell and tell not show, I find myself drawn to crafting work that is visually remarkable and entertaining even before it persuades.
I am no expert, but I am a genZ with a screen to my face at all times. A victim of the short attention span and ever changing trends, I use both to my advantage when writing concepts for ad films and social content. I’ve built creative campaigns and content for brands like Netflix, Prime Video, Krafton, and Ed-a-Mama. I’m part of the audience brands are chasing online, and I let those pain points reflect in the CTAs and scripts I write.
After completeting my Bachelors in Mass Communications I started as a copywriter and then had my affair with filmmaking. I realised I love being on sets where my words come to life. Haven’t broken up with the ex (copywriting) yet I am also having a fling with writing features and articles/essays, mainly for my own blog and linkedIn. If we are talking Creative Direction, I am single ;)
